Developed new feature and regression test plans, executed test cases, filed, tracked, and verified service requests, recorded and reported results to domestic and foreign customers, approved design intent and summary documents, and performed code inspections. Developed C++ and Perl automation tools to load, patch, and configure DMS testing labs, to execute test cases and test suites, to gather log information, and to evaluate and report test suite results. Maintained group Intranet presence and held training sessions for co-workers on tools usage UNIX, and Regular Expressions.

Provide in-store purchasing assistance, advice, and support to our academic customers. Involves keeping up-to-date in the latest computer hardware and software products and technologies and assessing personal and professional needs in order to link customers with appropriate products. Apply interpersonal and communication skills to ensure the customers understand and appreciate their purchase decisions.

As part of a small team, maintained all computer-related systems for five subdivisions of Dalhousie's Office of External Relations consisting of approximately 60 personal workstations. Support included upgrading all machines from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95, evaluating and implementing Y2K solutions, providing personal desktop assistance & support, network administration, troubleshooting, tools development, & accounts management.
